A pleasant two-tenths-mile (0.3 km) walk through mixed forest vegetation ends at a spring seep alcove known as "Weeping Rock." Here you will find continuous rain "weeping" from the ceiling of the alcove above your head. The water percolating down through the sandstone layers above Weeping Rock started its journey about 1400 years ago.

Flowers and ferns thrive in the west alcove, and on hot days the gentle rain of Weeping Rock can bring refreshing, cool relief. Should you happen to visit in the autumn, watch for the display of fall colors.

The cost for each image is US$25.00. Each is shipped in a sturdy cardboard mailing tube. A shipping and handling charge of US$5.00 will be added to each order shipped within the U.S.A.
